Zoofilist Service Policies

Zoofilist is a platform designed to connect pet owners with trusted, independent pet service providers. To ensure a safe, respectful, and transparent experience for everyone involved, the following service policies apply to all users on the Zoofilist platform.


1. Independent Service Providers

All pet service providers on Zoofilist operate as independent contractors, not employees of Zoofilist. Providers set their own availability, services, and prices. Zoofilist does not directly provide pet care services but facilitates connections, bookings, and secure payments through the platform.


2. Booking & Availability

Bookings are confirmed only once accepted through the Zoofilist app. Availability shown on a provider’s profile reflects the schedule they have set, including any blocked dates or times. Pet owners are encouraged to review provider profiles carefully before booking.


3. Payments & Fees

All payments must be completed through the Zoofilist platform to ensure security and proper recordkeeping. Prices shown are set by the service provider and apply per pet unless otherwise stated. Additional rates (such as puppy rates, additional pet rates, holiday rates, or extended care fees) may apply based on the provider’s pricing structure and will be clearly displayed before booking confirmation.

Zoofilist may charge service fees or commissions, which are disclosed transparently within the app.


4. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations and booking changes must be made through the Zoofilist platform. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled service start time. Specific cancellation terms are shown during the booking process and may vary by service type.

Providers who cancel a confirmed booking are not entitled to payment for that service.


5. Communication & Conduct

All communication between pet owners and service providers should remain respectful, professional, and within the Zoofilist platform whenever possible. Harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior, or inappropriate conduct of any kind is not tolerated and may result in account suspension or removal.


6. Pet Health & Safety

Pet owners are responsible for providing accurate information about their pet’s health, behavior, vaccination status, and special needs. Service providers have the right to decline or discontinue a service if a pet poses a safety risk or if critical information was withheld.

In case of emergencies, providers may seek veterinary care as outlined in the pet owner’s instructions.


7. Reviews & Feedback

After a completed service, pet owners may leave honest reviews based on their experience. Reviews must be truthful, respectful, and relevant to the service provided. Zoofilist reserves the right to remove reviews that violate community guidelines.


8. Insurance & Liability

Zoofilist takes platform safety seriously, but responsibility for pet care rests with the independent service provider. Zoofilist is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from services provided. Users are encouraged to review insurance coverage options and discuss expectations clearly before booking.


9. Platform Use

Zoofilist is intended for lawful pet care services only. Misuse of the platform, attempts to bypass fees, off-platform payments, or fraudulent activity may result in account termination.
